The Democrat party has long been on the train of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), championed strongly by people like Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders. For some reason, they believe that hiring minorities into roles will somehow make the profession better and "even the scales." Really, all their push of DEI did was create useless, overpaid positions with no purpose and no real duties.

On top of that, companies saw their consumer bases decline amid outrage over DEI practices, which is currently leading to a cleansing of sorts among DEI positions. But that is not stopping the Vermont Senator from continuing his incessant DEI push. Sanders has remained relentless in his "Medicare for All" battle, saying everyone deserves healthcare and the rich will pay for it.

One, Bernie, the top 50 percent of wealth in the country foots 96% of the federal income tax bill. Taxing the rich will accomplish nothing. Second, Medicare for All is doomed from the jump not just because of the outrageous fiscal logistics, but because it will only further degrade an imploding healthcare system.

Amy Curtis of Townhall says Sanders essentially believes that if the black population makes up 15-percent, they should get 15-percent of the physician jobs. That is not just senseless, it completely pushes out young people with true desires in the field of medicine.

"It is a dangerous mentality to have because it says we value meeting DEI quotas over patient safety," she says.

That is not to say that there are minority doctors who are not fantastic at their job. Many are, but they are also qualified and worked to get there. Hiring someone as a doctor because they check a box is a lethal precedent to set.

But it causes another domino to fall and creates what could be called a perfect storm. The socialist ideology of Medicare for All and hiring based on race rather than merit stirs up a vicious cycle.

"You will have doctors who leave the profession because if Medicare for All becomes a thing, they are going to get paid at the much lower Medicare for All rates," says Curtis. "Then, what you will have, is they will start to fill those slots with people who are not qualified."

The healthcare system is already crippled by the first attempt at Obamacare. That not only made medical care worse; it also made insurance companies filthy rich at the expense of Americans health and wallet.

So, to think this idea for some reason universal healthcare will work now, especially with the country in tremendous debt, borders on laughable to insane. The hiring of DEI doctors on top of that could be what collapses the system altogether.

"People will die if we elevate to medical school and the medical profession, people of any race, who are not qualified to be there," Curtis says.

Somewhere along the way, America lost the idea of merit. Working hard and being qualified for a job. It was instead replaced with a sense of entitlement and arrogance, spearheaded by Sanders.

If we can get it back, the country can be saved.
