According to a recent Rasmussen poll, an overwhelming number of Americans are concerned that social media and other Internet sources is radicalizing young people to engage in political violence.
84% of Likely U.S. voters are concerned that social media and other Internet sources may be radicalizing young people to engage in political violence, including 54% who are Very Concerned.
Just 12% aren’t concerned about online radicalization.
Only 17% of voters believe the government is doing enough to stop political violence in America, while 64% say the government’s not doing enough, and 19% are not sure.
Majorities of every political category – 72% of Democrats, 53% of Republicans and 68% of voters not affiliated with either major party – agree that the government is not doing enough to stop political violence in America.
