On the last stop of a weeks-long tour of the United States, promoting his choice of Republican candidate, President Donald Trump called for unity in his party based on the achievements of the past couple of years.
Speaking at a rally in Salina, Kansas, Trump appeared a little hoarse after an earlier campaign stop in Iowa, but talks casually to the crowd and spoke well of fellow GOP members, especially incumbent Alaska Senator Dan Sullivan, who's facing an independent candidate for office with the same name.
"Think of it," Trump said, "it's a hoax. You're running in Alaska and your name is Dan Sullivan and suddenly you find out the other guy's name is Dan Sullivan...so the people don't know what to do, it's just crooked, it's election fraud."
And the president touched on the war in Iran, too.
"With Iran I want to be nice, I want to save all those lives if I can. And they're sitting there with a very bad attitude but at some point we're gonna have to give them the hammer."
