Former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger has been paroled after serving seven years of her ten-year sentence.
She was convicted in 2018 of shooting and killing Botham Jean after she entered his apartment while off duty and shot him.
She claimed that she entered his apartment by mistake, believing it to be her own, and thought he was a burglar.
Guyger’s initial parole request was denied two years ago.
