There are two storm areas moving across the Atlantic Ocean that forecasters at the National Hurricane Center are recommending those who live in states along the Gulf Coast keep an eye on.
As we head toward the peak of the hurricane season over the next few weeks, these two areas are drawing the most attention as storms that could potentially develop into tropical systems.
There is no chance of any threat to the Texas coast over the next week and only a 20% chance that they will develop into anything over the next several days, but if the Gulf of America is threatened within the next two or three weeks, the second of these two areas of disturbed weather represents the best chance of a threat.
