The Clock Is Ticking On The Trump Agenda As The Midterms Loom

With just 5 months to go now until the November midterms, Republicans are running out of time to pass President Trump's agenda.

"They've got one working month left of days, basically, to get all of these campaign promises done" said Aaron Evans, president of 'Winning Republican Strategies".

The clock is ticking, for the GOP to pass literally - anything.

"The SAVE America Act really needs to be still the top priority" Evans told KTRH, "The clock's ticking, if they don't get that passed by November, they're going to have massive problems with credibility with the base."

They are blowing a golden opportunity, just like they did during Trump's first term.

"We've got a lot to accomplish before voters go to the ballot box in November" noted Evans, "And frankly, if we can't deliver on these very important promises, the GOP base is not going to want to show up to vote."

In addition to the SAVE Act, other key Trump agenda items include funding for immigration enforcement, and dealing with the affordability crisis.
