Another Record Day For The Dow

As oil prices dropped below $90 a barrel, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 224 points, which is a new record.

Earlier in the day, Iranian state-run media reported that the U.S. had written up a framework for a peace deal that would allow the Strait of Hormuz to reopen. However, the White House responded, and called the document a "complete fabrication".

The Dow was also boosted by gains in Proctor & Gamble, which was up more than 3%, along with Home Depot, which advanced more than 2%.
