President Trump Gives New Boost to AG Ken Paxton

President Donald Trump gave a new boost on Sunday to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who's running for US senator from Texas in a runoff election Tuesday.

He gave an official endorsement to AG Paxton last week, saying “Ken is a true MAGA Warrior who has ALWAYS delivered for Texas, and will continue to do so in the United States Senate.”

And on his Truth Social account on Sunday, President Trump wrote, "TEXAS, REMEMBER! Ken Paxton was a GREAT Attorney General, probably the best in the Country...Ken's opponent was VERY disloyal to me, as President, and didn't fight hard enough for the desperately needed SAVE AMERICA ACT – VOTER I.D., PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP, NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS."

With Democrats targeting Texas with lots of money and a senate candidate who explains his leftist politics as though they were tenets of Christianity, the senate race has become one of the hottest in the nation, pitting a 24-year incumbent, John Cornyn, against a favorite of the Texas right.
