Stocks shook off early-week volatility as Treasury yields eased, leaving Wall Street set to cap off a winning week despite heightened volatility.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 294 points, or 0.58%, closing at $50,570.70. The 30-stock index hit an intraday record high, rising as much as about 1% at one point. This is the second straight day the Dow broke records.
The S&P 500 increased 0.37% securing its eighth- straight weekly win -- the longest streak since late 2023.
The Nasdaq Composite climbed 0.19%. -- posting its seventh weekly advance in the past eight weeks, fueled by renewed strength in tech stocks.
Although all three indexes closed in the green.
