Another day, more gains on Wall Street, and this time, it was a record breaking day.
The Dow closed up by 276 points Thursday to a new record of 50,285.66 on hopes a deal to end the conflict in Iran was close.
This follows Wednesday's rally, which snapped a three day losing streak for investors.
As for what is driving this, it is the situation with Iran. President Trump had said the administration was in the "final stages" of negotiations.
The rise on the Dow was complemented by a pullback on oil prices below $100 a barrel as of mid Thursday afternoon.
