WATCH: Chaos Erupts As New Tennessee Congressional Maps Advance

The Tennessee State House has officially passed a new congressional map the removes the only democrat leaning seat in the state, giving Republicans there a 9-0 advantage.

This comes as Alabama also joined Texas in what's been called a "Redistricting War," which originally began in Galveston County Texas, and has lead to the Supreme Court ruling racially jerrymandered maps unconstitutional.

Tennessee's Democrat leaning district currently covered the Memphis area, but under this new map, the Memphis area would be folded into other Republican districts.

As the voting began, Democrat members of the Tennessee House began protesting from the floor, and where joined by leftwing activists in the gallery, who ended up having to be cleared out by Tennessee State Troopers.

Rep. Justin Pearson, who had previously been expelled from the Tennessee House, could be seen in one video being escorted out of the chamber by the Tennessee Highway Patrol, before stopping to curse out an officer.
