Operation Epic Fury Has Put China And Russia On Notice

Operation Epic Fury could be winding down soon, with reports of a 14-point, one-page deal nearly ready to be signed. This comes just days after Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said that the blockade of Iranian ships in the Strait of Hormuz could go global.

Recently, the United States Navy has blocked ships from coming to or leaving Iranian ports, but if the blockade goes global, the situation could get even worse for Iran.

This could lead to extra pressure on Iranian ghost fleet ships, with former Navy SEAL Jonathan Gilliam saying: “The United States is going to find them, and seize them, just like they have been doing with the few ships there in the Persian Gulf, and just like they did with Venezuela.”

He went on to say that this added pressure on the Iranian ghost fleet will also put more pressure on nations like China and Russia, which are both closely allied with Iran. “We are the power broker, not China and Russia. We will no longer be at the mercy of the game that they play, which is a soft war,” he said.

Gilliam believes that if Operation Epic Fury ends up being as big a success as the Trump administration hopes, we could finally have control of nearly 15% of China’s oil supply, which would give us leverage to combat their economic leverage in high-stakes negotiations.

Gilliam also praised President Trump’s actions during Operation Epic Fury, saying: “This president has shown that he’s not like Putin; he’s not gonna get drawn into a land war that gets no one anywhere. He is showing that he has command and control of the movement of things.”
