President Trump Pauses "Project Freedom" While U.S. & Iran Work Toward Deal

After a tenuous day in the Strait of Hormuz, President Trump has announced "Project Freedom" is on a brief pause.

That operation, which guided stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz, was put on hold so a final pear agreement can be possibly reached.

That is according to President Trump, who also said Truth Social the request came at the request of Pakistan and other countries to see if an agreement can be met.

The President added the U.S. Naval blockade of Iranian ports will "remain in full force and effect."

Iran reportedly fired upon two U.S. vessels in the Strait of Hormuz today, with neither sustaining damage. The U.S. has also confirmed they have sunk seven small Iranian boats.
