REPORT: Iran Received Help Building Nuclear Bombs From Texas Universities

We have long known that Iran has been trying to develop nuclear bombs. What you probably didn't know, is they have actually been receiving help from several Texas universities.

"And they're getting it from Texas universities, and I was shocked to see the research partnerships, going back and fourth between Tehran University and different Texas scholars" said Kate Bierly, education director with the Texas Public Policy Foundation.

Basically, it's academic espionage with the Iranian regime.

"So, this means that researchers and students affiliated with Iranian institutions, they are now legally obligated to hand over their intellectual property" Bierly told KTRH.

Another thing you may not have known. Texas actually has the best nuclear research in the nation. So, any nuclear professors or students from Iran, must share anything they learn with the Iranian regime. Meanwhile, every day at Tehran University, after their morning prayer, all of the students chant, "death to America'.

"If their scholars are in America, specifically in Texas, those students are required to give that sensitive information back to the Iranian government" noted Bierly.

It's something that has been going on for years, and something she says that Texas lawmakers need to address.
