President Trump posted to Truth Social, calling out the Iranians for violating the ceasefire and attempting to close the Strait of Hormuz yesterday.
According to the post, tankers from France and the United Kingdom were targeted, which the President called a “total violation” of the ceasefire, which wasn’t set to expire until Wednesday.
Trump now says his representatives are heading to Islamabad, Pakistan, where they will offer the Iranians a “fair and reasonable” deal. He warned the Iranians that if a deal isn’t reached, Iran’s power plants and bridges will once again be in the spotlight.
“I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY! They’ll come down fast, they’ll come down easy and, if they don’t take the DEAL, it will be my Honor to do what has to be done, which should have been done to Iran, by other Presidents, for the last 47 years,” the President said.
