Democrats Will Try To Cut Down President Trump's War Powers

After 3 failed attempts last month, Senate Democrats led by minority leader Chuck Schumer, are hoping that the 4th time will be the charm, as they try to force another vote to halt President Trump's war powers.

"The Democrats at this point just want to do anything they can to hamstring President Trump, with regard to Iran" said Steve Bucci, a visiting fellow for Special Ops, Homeland Security, and National Security at the Heritage Foundation.

Ironically, most of the Democrats who are attacking President Trump, have been attacking Iran for decades.

"It is at this point, political theater" Dr. Bucci told KTRH, "They don't want President Trump to be successful because they see political loss if they allow that to happen."

Either way, this shouldn't be a partisan issue.

"You would think with how horrific the Iranian regime is, that there would be a little more ability to be bipartisan in dealing with it" noted Bucci, "But the hatred for President Trump is just so visceral on the part of the Democratic party, it's unfortunate."

The Democrats have already tried 3 times to pass a war powers resolution, but all 3 times they failed.
