With gas prices reaching $117 a barrel, Americans feel a sense of uncertainty- but to speak of a ‘recession’- that’s projecting misinformation. The last recession was during Co-Vid from February to April 2020. Two years later, Biden flirted with another recession in 2022. Financial Strategist, Mitch Kramer, says there were 2 negative GDP, and the National Bureau of Economic Research didn’t call it a ‘recession’.
“Maybe Biden had his hand on the scale and didn’t want to have a recession on his watch.” Kramer said.
Trump doesn’t have the luxury of the mainstream media at his fingertips; his numbers have to do the talking. “Our economy I think is still real solid, the spending is still solid, the top 20 percent supports the economy. You go out to restaurants in Houston or Dallas- the restaurants are packed. We haven’t seen a real pull back for the people that have resources.” He said.
Kramer says half of Americans are living check to check and that’s the demographic who are challenged, because higher gas prices are a daily expense and its eats up a large part of their budget compared to other income brackets.
“Republicans will say: ‘I don’t like Biden, but he’s our president, I’ll work with him.’ Conservatives don’t get that from the Left. The noisy left gathers the headlines and the noise because it creates clicks and ratings. We must dive through all of that and find out what the truth is.” Kramer said.
President Trump has stated he doesn’t want the war to drag on- has clearly laid out the objectives of eliminating Iran's nuclear warfare and a goal of 6 weeks as his administration is looking for other countries to step up such as the UK to also protect their own national security and global for all countries. In addition, the Iranian people and Middle East countries will need to step up too- although understandably dangerous as they violently kill their own people and especially those that defy the Iranian regime. “Trying to find a malleable leader in Iran- that’s friendly to the West; I think that’s one of the biggest challenges we’re facing right now. Who can we talk to that has power, that will actually kind of quiet the regime, so we can see progress.” Kramer said.
The challenge is steep- with the ongoing conflict- as it warrants other countries to step up at this time. America needs all nations to join the cause because global nuclear warfare is a world problem.
