The voting is done, for now.
Texans went to the polls for the primaries on Tuesday, with several key races expected to head to a runoff in May.

In the GOP Senate primary, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and incumbent Senator John Cornyn both advanced to a runoff election in May, as neither achieved the 50-percent threshold needed. Congressman Wesley Hunt was a distant third with14-percent of the vote.
On the Democrat side, James Talarico still holds a 53-47 lead over Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, with over 70-percent of precincts reporting.
In the race for Attorney General, that will also head to another runoff. State Senator Mayes Middleton and Congressman Chip Roy both advanced to a runoff election in May, beating out challengers Aaron Reitz and Joan Huffman.
The Comptrollers race was a slight surprise, as Trump-endorsed candidate Don Huffines overwhelmingly defeated incumbent, and Governor Abbott endorsed Kelly Hancock to win the Republican nomination.
