Despite all of the anti-Trump bias from the mainstream media, a stunning new ABC News-Washington Post poll found that American still trust President Trump, more than they do the Democrats.
"This is kind of astounding to see a party in opposition, have such bad numbers" said Nick Lindquist, director of communications with the Texas based Civitas Institute.
The poll also found that Trump leads the Dems in EVERY category.
"The thing about the Democrats, is they keep going down the path that they shouldn't and they just can't help themselves" Lindquist told KTRH, "Here in Texas, Democrats are rallying support behind someone like Jasmine Crockett. If Trump's numbers keep getting better, they're going to really have no choice but to make some changes."
The question is, when? The Dems continue to be on the wrong side of all of the key issues, with 64% saying that the Democrats are out of touch with the concerns of the average American.
"I think that they are finally reaching the point where it has to be a wake-up call" noted Lindquist, "I don't see any other way of interpreting those numbers. If Trump is so bad, then why are Democrats being polled at even lower rates? I think a wake-up call has to be coming."
The poll also found that 66% of Americans believe that the economy is getting better, which should help Trump's polling numbers even more before the midterms.
