Gov. Abbott: Who's Paying for Anti-Trump Rallies In Minnesota?

The marchers on the streets of Minneapolis, Minnesota, are not running through the streets in sub-freezing weather because they love to be cold, they're being paid and the best thing President Donald Trump can do right now is find out who's paying out all that money to the protesters.

That's the word from Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who says the street marches in Minneapolis are just "pushbacks against President Trump," they're not marching against immigration policies or illegal immigration at all.

An example is former President Barack Obama, who deported about 5 million illegal immigrants during his two terms in office (earning the nickname, "Deporter In Chief"), compared to President Trump's deportation of less than half a million.

"Back when [President Obama] was president you didn't see this chaos in Minneapolis when they tried to remove people from Minnesota, this is really a pushback against President Trump, rather than a pushback about what the obligation is for ice to do its job, and that's to remove people who are here illegally," the governor said on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartaromo.

So "if the Trump administration can find out who is funding all this illegal activity, interfering with the ability of ICE to do its job, that would be the greatest game changer to be achieved by the president."
