As forecasted, the Dallas-Fort Worth area is beginning to feel the impact of a major winter storm.

According to the National weather Service, "Conditions have rapidly deteriorated across North Texas overnight, with ice and sleet spreading into Central Texas this morning. The most widespread round of wintry weather will occur from this evening into Sunday morning with significant travel impacts area-wide."
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect until Noon on Sunday.
