Jack Smith Testifies At A Public House Judiciary Committee Hearing

Today is the big day in D.C., as former special counsel Jack Smith will finally testify publicly over his bogus indictments and prosecutions of President Trump.

"I think that there's going to be a lot of questions of Smith, I would not be surprised in the slightest if there are questions that Smith could fall into traps on" said reporter Kaelan Deese, who will be covering the hearing for the Washington Examiner.

Those questions are also going to be about the other big item on the GOP agenda. Why did Smith subpoena Republican's phone records?

"It's probably going to be a pretty big spectacle, a lot of lawmakers have been champing at the bit to get Smith in this seat" Deese told KTRH, "But I do think that there's going to be a lot of fireworks, and definitely something to watch."

Last month, Smith sat for a closed-door deposition with the committee and testified for eight hours.

"I think that there's going to be a lot of reference material for the House to question him on" noted Deese.

In this public hearing, House lawmakers will be able to question Smith in five-minute blocks, compared to the deposition, when each party questioned Smith in one-hour sessions.

As reported by Fox News Digital, Republicans have said the subpoenas were unconstitutional violations of the speech or debate clause, and they have broadly said the Biden DOJ abused its authority by bringing, in their view, politicized criminal charges against a former president and presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, President Trump, has long decried Smith as a "thug" and said he belongs in jail.
