The Republicans are continuing their big midterm push, even in the heavily Hispanic South Texas region. This is despite concerns from some that President Trump’s immigration enforcement operations might be hurting the GOP’s chances with Hispanic voters.

The reality is, many Hispanic Americans actually support these efforts by President Trump. Maria Espinoza with the Remembrance Project explained: “Hispanics are not at all souring on Trump. They’re even more committed to him because they see what is taking place.”

She went on to say that the Hispanic community isn’t likely to swing back to the Democrats even if they were upset with Trump. “Taxes are higher, groceries and housing are a lot more expensive after the last four years,” she explained. “This is what the Biden administration and Democrats brought to us.”

Espinoza also called out the fact that the left continues to push the idea that Hispanic Americans are a voting bloc whose only concern is more illegal immigration.
