Legacy Media Already Pushing Narrative That Dems Have Path To House Control

The year 2026 is a big one around the United States, with the World Cup coming and America's 250th Birthday celebration taking place July 4th. But in November, the midterms elections come about and might be one of the most consequential midterms we have seen in decades. Republicans have control of Congress, but Democrats have been stomping their feet, doubling down on insanity trying to regain control. Yet do not realize they lost control because of their politics.

Again though, as with every election cycle, Democrats are promising a "blue wave," and the mainstream media is already pushing that idea. Outlets like the Wall Street Journal are already writing pieces about how the Democrats have a path back to control in 2026. If you live in a Democrat bubble, that must sound really neat. If you live in reality though, like 99-percent of people, you realize that can only happen if major changes come in the party.

Changes that will never be made. Because the party leadership has become an overly aggressive, self-loathing, narcissistic shell of its old self. Worse yet, they continue to push the same ideas that have lost them multiple elections already. Their approval numbers are falling, and Democrats leave the party almost every week now.

Republican strategist Jennifer Kelly says they truly believe in their chances, despite their unpopularity and the odds stacked against them.

"Of the 22 or so House seats up in the midterms...20 of those seats are in districts where President Trump won by 20 points or more," she says.

Of course, President Trump is not on the ballot. But in a roundabout way, he is. Most Republicans have hitched their wagon to his ideology, and his involvement in getting out and rallying behind those candidates will be essential to Republicans ability to keep a majority.

But even without that, Democrats have a mountain to climb. Their policies have been proven to not work, as evidenced by the Biden administration. The people have rejected their warped ideologies of transgender children and drag shows for kids. Yet they just keep pushing the same ideas.

It is as if no one in the room at the Democrat headquarters has any real idea. It is just hate President Trump and push radical ideas. Meanwhile, President Trump is accomplishing things and gaining more popularity by the day.

"If you are an American voter, you are looking at this...wanting to continue these policies for another two years," says Kelly. "You do not want to go back to the Biden administration and the dark ages...I believe the Republican base is going to show up and show out in November."

Trump's approval ratings at last check have been around 43-percent. All told, considering how many hit pieces are run against him, that is pretty fair. That number continues to grow. As that number grows, so will the Republican majority in Congress.

Especially since, despite the media's narrative, people support Trump's actions on things like immigration. The media will try to make you believe millions disagree. But in reality, people are behind his efforts.

"The highest level of people [who agree with deportations] since the Obama administration...that is pretty significant, but you would not believe that if you were just watching the mainstream news," Kelly says.

If the Republican base shows up, even with Trump not on the ballot, the House will stay Red in 2026. Even without that, the House might stay Republican. Unless Democrats have a moment of self-reflection. Which, as we all know, will happen when pigs fly.
