Trump Holds Court At White House: "Minnesota Is Being Destroyed"

President Trump welcomed in U.S. executives to discuss plans on how to overhaul the U.S. oil industry.

The plan is for the U.S. oil companies to spend “at least $100 billion of their money, not the government’s money” to revitalize Venezuela’s oil infrastructure and eventually pump more oil.

Then came another lengthy Q&A session with the media.

Trump said he sees Venezuela as an ally "right now", “Right now, they seem to be an ally. And I think it’ll continue to be an ally and we don’t want to have Russia there. We don’t want to have China there,” Trump said.

President Trump was also asked about Greenland, “I would like to make a deal the easy way but if we don’t do it the easy way, we’re going to do it the hard way. And by the way, I’m a fan of Denmark too. I have to tell you, they have been very nice to me. I’m a big fan,” the president said.

The president also shared that somebody gave him a “Happy Trump” pin to wear on his lapel.
