Many Reasons House Republicans Should Not Extend Obamacare Subsidies

The start of the New Year brings a return of the battle between House Republicans and Democrats, over whether or not to extend the enhanced Obamacare subsidies.

It's something that is actually part of the plan for the Dems.

"This whole thing was engineered by Democrats" said Bill Pascoe, with the Tea Party Patriots in Washington, "They deliberately put in place a system where these subsidies would expire at the end of 2025."
Why did the Dems do that? Because they knew strategically, that at the end of 2025 either Joe or Kamala would be in the White House, or if it was Trump, Republicans would then take all of the blame.

"Either the Democrats would be in power then, and they would renew the subsidies, or the Democrats would not be in power and the Republicans would be in power, and the Republicans would likely not renew the subsidies and would take the hit for it politically."

Always remember with the left, they only care about power, not the people.

The question now is, will the Republicans cave? Well, they already kind of did when 4 GOP Reps. Brian Fitzpatrick, Rob Bresnahan, and Ryan Mackenzie of Pennsylvania and Mike Lawler of New York signed a discharge petition, siding with the Democrats.

"I'm not sure the four Republicans, two of whom are freshmen, I'm not sure that they understood that what they were signing on to was not a vote on a bill, it's basically a vote to give control of the floor to the Democrats. I think they're going to be unpleasantly surprised when they see what the Democrats do."

Even if the Democrats do find a way to pass some kind of extension in the House, the subsidies should fail in the GOP led Senate.
