Noem and Rubio Talks Steps Moving Foward Post Maduro Capture

Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, on Fox, says we must bring Maduro to justice. “Homeland Security Investigations, along with the FBI, and CIA have been tracking his drug trafficking for years, his crimes against humanity right here in the United States. To see him brought to justice is incredibly satisfying for those families that have to live without their loved ones today because of the crimes that he’s committed.” She said.

Noem adding, “President Trump is done negotiating and is a man of action. when he feels someone is threatening the United States. He will defend it with every resource that we have, and he’ll continue to do that."

Secretary of state, Marco Rubio, on Meet the Press, says the US is not interested in working w appointed VE VP Delcy Rodriguez, and the US supports the people of Venezuela deciding who is best to serve their country. Rubio says they are looking at the next 2 to 3 weeks, securing the national interests of the US and hopes for a holistic transition for the people of Venezuela - stopping other countries from getting rich off their oil.

"Until they address it, they will continue to face this oil quarantine. They will continue to face pressure from the United States. We will continue to target drug boats that go towards the US. We will continue to seize the boats that are sanctioned with court orders. We will continue to do other things. The number one thing we care about is the safety, security and the prosperity of the United States." Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.

On Saturday, the president of Venezuela, his wife and his grown son have arrived just outside New York City, where they're to be tried on charges of narco-terrorism conspiracy, cocaine-importation conspiracy and other weapons charges.

Nicolas Maduro was captured overnight by US forces at the capital city of Venezuela during a daring hours-long sweep of the city, securing military facilities, bombing weapons depots and communications sites, and disarming some of Maduro's deputies in the government, according to officials.

Maduro was transported to the Stewart Air Force Base north of New York City, after stopping at the US Naval Base Guantanamo, Cuba.

He was initially locked up aboard the USS Iwo Jima off the coast of Venezuela, after his capture overnight near the city of Caracas.
