AG Paxton's Investigation Of Immigrant-Serving Groups Is The Correct Move

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has made one thing abundantly clear in the last few years. He is going to ensure election integrity in Texas and has been taking action to do so. For years now, immigrant-serving nonprofits have been bypassing ethics, and finding ways to register illegals to vote in elections, while also providing them jobs, housing, and a variety of other things. Instead of focusing on actual Americans, while also ruining election integrity in the state.

Paxton has held true to his mission and has recently launched investigations into at least a dozen companies, mostly those nonprofits. He is doing so with court backing of a 150-year-old state law to demand a company's internal documents and can move shut them down if they do not comply. Of course, Democrats are kicking and screaming over this idea, because they throw tantrums over everything.

They hide behind a facade that they care about illegal immigrants and preach love and peace. In reality, it is all a self-preservation tactic to keep their voter base and power in office.

Richard Harris of Truth and Liberty says this nonprofit machine has run for decades but has now become brazenly illegal.

"Some of them provide services like finding jobs...but one particular group called Jolt is a Latino voter engagement nonprofit," he says.

That nonprofit essentially helps get illegal aliens registered to vote, which is illegal in itself. Yet they keep doing it. Again, not out of some goodness of their heart or because they want people to achieve the American dream. It is so they can prop themselves up come election time and buy votes.

All this has done is add hundreds of thousands of noncitizens to the voter rolls in Texas which hurt election integrity. That needs to be nipped in the bud quickly and Paxton's actions do that.

"Every illegal that is registered dilutes the vote of every citizen that votes, so this is perfectly legitimate," says Harris. "One of the driving problems with election integrity are bloated and inaccurate voter registration rolls...it is one of the primary defects that allows fraud to happen."

Fraud it has become too, with tons of illegal aliens voting in our elections. Again, voting as an illegal immigrant is a crime. It is not supposed to happen. Yet Democrats fight tooth and nail to keep it alive because without that base, they would get obliterated in every election.

So, Paxton is doing what any logical attorney general would do, and what any real attorney general should be doing.

"To make sure only citizens are voting in our elections, and the illegal practices of registering noncitizens to vote is punished," Harris says.

He adds this will ensure fair and balanced elections once again.

Go ahead and cry about it, Democrats. The chickens are home to roost, and your voter base will not be around much longer. At least in the Lone Star State.
