After the U.S. House voted 222-209 in favor of a bill to end the government shutdown on Wednesday night, President Trump has officially signed the bill to reopen the government.
The bill, which had the support of six Democrats across the aisle, funds the government through January 30th.
However, before signing the bill, President Trump ripped the Democrats for the 40-plus day stoppage.
The President also once again called for an end to the filibuster, which caused the chaos in the Senate.
Two Republicans voted against the bill, Kentucky's Tomas Massie and Florida's Greg Steube.
