Paxton Sues Leftist Open-Borders Group Over Illegal Voter-Registration Scam

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing the JOLT initiative, a radical leftist open borders group over an alleged illegal voter registration scam.

According to reports, members of the Democrat aligned group were caught standing outside the DMV instructing people how to vote illegally, while also offering to register people to vote who weren't even present.

"You cannot register illegal aliens, that is a criminal offense" said Maria Espinoza, national director and co-founder of The Remembrance Project, "There is a big effort from the left to sign up these illegal aliens."

The goal of these groups is simple. Get more votes for the Democrats.

"The left is using this illegal immigration invasion to turn Texas into a blue state" Espinoza told KTRH. And the lawsuit against this group, is just the beginning.

"This type of lawsuit is a long time coming" noted Espinoza, "We have to stop these groups, and many of them are funded by our own tax dollars. So we're funding our own demise. We have to stop this unlawful cheating."

According to a report from Texas Scorecard, Paxton’s office is asking the court to order the forfeiture of Jolt’s corporate privileges, dissolution of its charter, and appointment of a receiver to wind down the organization’s operations.
