2 Federal Judges ruled SNAP benefits must continue.
President Trump said he doesn’t want the 42 million people who rely on this program to go hungry. The president announced on TRUTH social he would follow two rulings on SNAP funding. The administration is asking for clearer "legal direction" from the courts, arguing the administration wasn't allowed to use any emergency funds to pay for SNAP.
Many states have announced they'll use state funding to help their residents.
