As the Democrat led 'Schumer Shutdown' continues, the non-stop fund raising flow continues for House Republicans, who have hauled in $24 million over the last 3 months.
"It's historic, when you consider this is an off-year" said Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies, "I think it's actually one of the largest off years that we've had in recent history."
That includes the best non-election year September ever, as the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) took in almost $14 million.
"With the Republican Party, we've got a very clear platform, we've got a very clear agenda" Evans told KTRH, "It's something that the American people overwhelmingly supported when they elected president Trump in November."
They want Trump to keep on winning with the America first agenda, and they know that do so, House control for the GOP is key.
"Donors are seeing this, and there's enthusiasm and excitement and we're seeing that with the base" noted Evans, "It's a good reflection of the job that the Republicans are doing, and I think it's a good projection of the enthusiasm going into next year."
The House Republicans have raised almost $93 million so far this year.
