With the 2025 Election Day now just two weeks away, many political experts believe that the Governor's race in New Jersey is going to provide a telling preview for next year's all-important midterms.
"Joe Biden's lasting impact on the country is showing up in a lot of ways that I think the Republican's should focus on, and should focus people's attention on" said Liz Peek, Fox News columnist and contributor.
Case in point, deep blue New Jersey where they are dealing with all kinds of Democrat damage. The state may be greener, but the grass is definitely not, especially when it comes to energy prices.
"In the case of New Jersey, you have electricity prices 22% higher" Peek told KTRH, "Absolutely out of control, extremely expensive and very hurtful."
Crime is also another Democrat consequence across the country.
"People know that they feel less safe in their homes, and out at night than they used to" noted Peek, "And I think that's something in New Jersey that is a big issue, and I think the Republican's need to talk about that."
Talk about it, and remind them. And that is why the New Jersey Governor's race between Republican Jack Ciattarelli, and Democrat Mikie Sherrill, could be the GOP blueprint for 2026.
