John Fetterman Calling Out Radical Democrat Rhetoric

Many Democrats have yet to acknowledge their role in rising political violence, but Democratic Senator John Fetterman has. He recently took to X to call out members of the left for their rhetoric, which he linked to a 30-year high in left-wing violence.

He said in the post, "Unchecked extreme rhetoric, like labels as Hitler or fascist, will foment more extreme outcomes. Political violence is always wrong—no exceptions."

The fact of the matter is, this problem has grown so much that it's nearly impossible for even Democrats to ignore. Trenten Rippey with Young Americans for Liberty says it's not getting any better either. He said, "I saw posts coming out comparing Charlie Kirk to Nazi figures even after they killed the guy for promoting free speech."

Rippey also says if you're waiting for other Democrats to join Fetterman, don't hold your breath. According to him, "Fetterman might just stay as an outlier. I think they're going to continue to kind of just stay in line with the current rhetoric. They're an ideologically pure faction."

He thinks it's much more likely that the Democrats simply push Fetterman out of the party for speaking out, rather than join him in calling out the radicals on their side.
