It's that time of year again: the annual Texas Youth Summit, dedicated to sharing the conservative message with young people, is set to kick off later this evening in The Woodlands.
The 2025 Summit already has a star-studded lineup of speakers, including both influencers and elected officials. Texas Youth Summit Founder Christian Collins gave KTRH a preview, saying, "We're going to continue fighting for the truth. We're going to have Alex Clark, who is a Turning Point USA contributor, Allie Beth Stuckey, Senator Ted Cruz, and a few others."
Collins says that the main event this year will follow a service to honor the life of political activist, influencer, and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Collins said, "He was assassinated; he was martyred because of what he believed. So many people, millions of people around the world, cared about and consumed his ideas."
Kirk had been a guest at the Youth Summit on a number of occasions over the years, and Collins says they will have a prayer and worship service in his honor, with the goal of pointing attendees toward Christ.
