Utah D.A.: "We Will Seek The Death Penalty" For Charlie Kirk's Murder

Formal charges were announced for the accused killer of Charlie Kirk.

Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray announced seven counts total, and that they will seek the death penalty against 22-year old Tyler Robinson, who will be held without bail.

"I do not take this decision lightly," Gray said.

Robinson has been charged aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm, and obstruction of justice, along with two counts of witness tampering, linked to telling his roommate to delete text messages and not talk to police.

It was also confirmed that Robinson was romantically involved with his transgender roommate, and had moved to the left politically over the last year.
