President Trump Announces National Guard To Memphis In Crime Crackdown

In a move similar to his one in Washington D.C. at the end of August, President Trump has announced a major crime crackdown in Memphis, Tennessee.

President Trump says the National Guard is being sent to Memphis, along with the FBI, DEA, ATF, and ICE. Trump said, "we are not going to allow this kind of savagery to destroy our society anymore, we are stopping it."

Memphis ranked among the worst cities in the national for violent crime.

Attorney General Pam Bondi says the operation is about keeping American cities safe, and they are excited to do that with Memphis.

Tennessee's governor is on board with the plan and was present with President Trump when he announced. President Trump also, once again, teased a similar operation happening in Chicago.
