Sadly, it's not just several college students posting despicable comments about Charlie Kirk's murder. Several teachers and professors who have been indoctrinating them, are also doing the same. And now they are facing consequences.
According to reports, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has launched an investigation into teachers who have allegedly shared "reprehensible and inappropriate content" about Kirk's assassination.
Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath sent a letter to school district leaders across the state, after receiving numerous reports of educators sharing or reacting to Kirk’s death in ways that may violate the state’s Educators’ Code of Ethics.
“These comments do not reflect the vast majority of Texas teachers,” Morath wrote, "TEA has been made aware of some Texas public school educators that have posted and/or shared reprehensible and inappropriate content on social media related to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. In response to such posts, I am referring all documentation of educators that have proliferated such vile content to TEA's Educator Investigation Division. Such posts could constitute a violation of the Educators' Code of Ethics, and each instance will be thoroughly reviewed to determine whether sanctionable conduct has occurred and staff will investigate accordingly."
This comes after a football coach with Klein ISD was fired for remarks he made on FB. Derek Woods, a former teacher and football coach at Schindewolf Intermediate, called Kirk a "horrible f---ing human being, and a racist, homophobic, a mysoginist, transphobic nasty person.
State Rep. Steve Toth sent a screen shot of the vile comments, and the school took swift action.
