The FBI finally held their update press conference in regard to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. However, not much was said on Thursday night in Utah.

FBI Director Kash Patel was present, but did not speak, as authorities released new pictures and video of the suspect.

Utah DPS commissioner Beau Mason says they have collected a great deal of physical evidence at the scene.

"He climbed off the edge of the building and dropped to the ground...as he did that, we found some palm impressions, some smudges...there was also a shoe imprint, which shows the shooter wears Converse sneakers," said Mason.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox pleaded with the public to continue sending them tips, which have been coming at record pace.

"We cannot do our job without the public's help right now...so far, we have received over 7,000 leads and tips...the FBI has not received such a number of digital tips since the Boston Marathon bombing," said Cox.

The governor added that they are working to seek the death penalty for the shooter, once he is apprehended.

The suspect is still at-large, as the manhunt begins to stretch nationwide.
