Unusual Rain Patterns Blanket Texas

Remnants of an old hurricane are moving through a portion of Texas, while the state also sees a mild cold front moving in, even as Hill County residents are on the lookout for some flooding.

Central Texas and especially the San Antonio area have seen some heavy rain and light flooding, with a number of roads turning dangerous because of high water.

The cold front is moving through Southeast Texas on Sunday afternoon, bringing some high water dangers on roads, too.

Once a hurricane named Lorena, now a gathering of thunderstorms and rain have been moving through West Texas and into central portions of the state on Sunday, and are expected to remain into Monday morning, according to AccuWeather.

In the San Antonio area, roads closed because of high water have been concentrated on the north and west sides on Sunday afternoon.
