Leftist Groups Sue Texas Over Ban On DEI, Gender Ideology In K-12 Schools

A coalition of radical left wing groups have filed a lawsuit against the state of Texas over the ban on DEI and gender ideology in K-12 schools. One Texas based education expert is not surprised.

"I'm not surprised at all, because it always comes down to money" said Jean Burk, owner of College Prep Genius, "If you look at the stats, 50,000 Texas families left to homeschool. Any logical, common sense parents do not want the things they are banning in the schools."

But apparently, the left still hasn't got the message, and that is why they continue to lose money, and influence.

"What you've got here is the government schools trying to be the parent" Burk told KTRH.

The reality is, these radical leftist groups are never going to stop trying to indoctrinate your kids.

"They're not going to give up" noted Burk, "They are going to do everything they can, they're hanging on by a thread, but the great thing is common sense is back, everybody woke up to the fact that it's been nonsense, and most parents aren't taking it anymore."

The lawsuit against SB 12, the 'Parental Bill of Rights', has been filed in federal district court here in Houston.
