President Trump has announced via Truth Social plans to sign another major executive order aimed at making federal elections more secure.
He announced plans to sign an order that will require voter ID in elections across the country, saying, "Voter ID Must Be Part of Every Single Vote. NO EXCEPTIONS! I Will Be Doing An Executive Order To That End!!!"
He also renewed his call for an end to mail-in voting but did add key exceptions for "those that are very ill and the far-away military." He also called for only paper ballots to be used in elections.
The exact text of the executive order and when he plans to sign it have yet to be announced, but you can expect it to face major legal pushback from the left when it is signed.
