Not the way to head into a holiday weekend, as Texas City High School has been placed on lockdown. According to the Texas City ISD, police are investigating a reported threat to the school.
District officials also confirmed that all students and staff are secure inside the building.
Visitors, parents or guardians are asked to not come to the school during this time as law enforcement is checking the facility.
