An attempt by the Trump administration to deport Kilmar Abrego Garcia again has been blocked by a federal judge in Maryland.
Abrego Garcia is the man the US government had mistakenly sent to a mega-prison in El Salvador, but the judge said on Monday that the government is a"bsolutely forbidden at this juncture to remove Mr. Abrego Garcia from the continental United States."
He's facing deportation to Uganda, Africa, after refusing an arrangement by a court to be deported to Costa Rica in exchange for pleading guilty to charges of human smuggling.
