We might finally have some clarity regarding the Friday raid of former National Security Adviser John Bolton's home by federal law enforcement.
There has been much speculation as to why his home may have been raided, with Democrats and the left assuming it's simply because Bolton became an outspoken critic of President Trump after his time in the Trump administration came to an end.
That might be rather far from the truth. According to a report from the New York Post, this may have been the result of an investigation into how Bolton was handling classified documents.
According to the report, Bolton may have been using classified information to write his book "The Room Where It Happened," but there are also allegations that Bolton was sending classified documents to his wife and daughter via a private email server.
Bolton has been under a federal probe since 2020, but there hasn't been any strong action until FBI Director Kash Patel revived the investigation.
