DOJ Warned Biden His Blanket Drug Pardons Included Violent Offenders

Just before leaving office in January, President Biden used his power for not-so-good, issue blanket pardons to numerous people, including Dr. Anthony Fauci and numerous other questionable administration officials. But among those were also blanket pardons for people serving non-violent drug offenses. Which in most cases, would be a fairly okay thing to do.

However, because he lacked senility, control, and was using an autopen, Biden managed to release some violent offenders in that mix. That despite warnings from his own Department of Justice which said some of these people being granted clemency had a history of violent crimes. Now, people who committed murders in the name of their own drug business are back on the streets.

Steven Richards of Just the News says this actually can be tied to the autopen scandal.

"The DOJ was warning it was impossible for the intent to be made known...and also opens up the Trump DOJ to reverse those pardons if they interpret them in a different way," he says.

A whole host of pardons and even policy decisions by Biden are in the air, as the House Oversight Committee investigates the use of an autopen by the administration. If it turns out his mental faculties were not up to par, and other people auto signed, it could lead to a reversal of all these pardons.

Biden originally touted that it was nonviolent offenders being pardoned, so as to make it look good. But looking deeper into who got out, that could not be further from the truth.

One of the men, Russel McIntosh, was responsible for killing a mother and two-year-old to protect his own drug operation. He was under the Biden pardons. That is just one of many examples of what a clueless Biden Administration let back onto American streets.

"Steven Fowler, who ordered someone to be tortured...there was another who ordered a man to be tortured...the Biden DOJ actually suggested to the president that he stopped saying publicly that the pardons would only apply to nonviolent offenders," says Richards.

It is just another glaring failure of an administration that was being driven by committee, not by leadership.
