Some of Blue Bell's "Moo-llennium Crunch" ice cream is now subject to a voluntary recall.

According to reports, some half-gallon packages were put in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons but have a Moo-llennium Crunch lid.

The result is that these products now contain undeclared almonds, walnuts, and pecans, which could pose a risk to those with nut allergies.

The issue was reportedly discovered by a Blue Bell employee restocking a retail location; there have not been any reported incidents as a result of the error.

The affected ice cream was sold throughout much of the South, including Alabama, Arkansas, Texas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and parts of Virginia, Florida, and Illinois.
