President Trump is once again calling for the practice of mail-in ballots, which has become nearly universal in many blue states, to be abolished. He says this is a key part of making our elections more secure.

In a recent post to his platform Truth Social, Trump called out mail-in voting, saying, "We are now the only Country in the World that uses Mail-In Voting. All others gave it up because of the MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD ENCOUNTERED."

Former Texas State Representative and former Chairman of the Texas GOP Matt Rinaldi says despite their outrage at Trump, the left knows he's right. He said, "Democrats have admitted that mail-in balloting is the number one conduit for fraud in elections. We've seen that time and time again, and President Trump is trying to combat that."

So how exactly does widespread mail-in balloting come to an end? Rinaldi says it will require a nationwide state-level push, which has already begun here in Texas. He said, "When I was chair of the Republican Party in Texas, our priority was one-day, in-person balloting only. Mail-in voting only upon need."

He says that while there are cases where mail-in ballots could be helpful, namely for those serving in the military overseas, opening up mail-in voting to everyone regardless of whether or not they need it only serves to invite more fraud into our elections.

He also pointed out that any left-wing outrage at mail-in voting being restricted is hypocritical because even some left-wing stronghold states, like Delaware and Connecticut, have strongly restricted mail-in balloting.
