If Dems Want A Redistricting War, They're Going Really Lose Big

The runaway Texas Democrats have returned to do their job, but they are still trying to take a victory lap, and still crying for their colleague's in California to retaliate with more redistricting.

And now, some conservatives are saying, bring it on!

"Any redistricting war is going to be won by the Republicans for sure" said Will Chamberlin, senior counsel with the Article 3 Project, "I think we might net something like 20 additional seats, we'd gain 20 they'd lose 20. It would be very, very bad for them."

So bad, that one conservative pundit put like this: If the Democrats want a redistricting war, they will get annialated.

"Yes, that's completely accurate" Chamberlin told KTRH, "If we actually went to war over this, we would win handily."

The question now is, will a redistricting war really happen? Or will it end here in Texas?

"I think once it dies out of the news cycle, California and Gavin Newsom will find a way to quietly retreat. They realize the consequences of what this would mean going forward."

Even a former CNN editor admitted that if there was a full-blown redistricting battle across the U.S., Republicans would win easily.
