Leftists continue to rage against the plan by Republicans to redistrict Texas. Some, including three-time failed Democratic candidate Robert Francis O'Rourke, are now demanding that blue states respond by taking up their own redistricting plans.

O'Rourke spoke at an event last week where he advocated for Democrats to redistrict before Texas does, saying, "We don't await the punch thrown by these would-be fascists to land; we punch first, and we punch harder." O'Rourke specifically called on states like California and Illinois to redraw their maps to give the DNC an advantage.

Now he and other Democrats are being called out as hypocrites for all this, with RNC Committeeman Dr. Robin Armstrong saying, "He's looking for an issue. The fact is, there's not a blue state that has any space to gerrymander because they've already done it."

He went on to say that Democrats are just mad that Republicans are now playing by their rules, but there isn't really much they can do about it. He said, "They can't gerrymander any more because they've already done it. They've done it for the last 40-50 years."

Armstrong says if Democrats across the country do manage to further gerrymander their states, red states will likely respond. Armstrong said, "They're talking about picking up more Republican seats in Missouri; they're talking about it in Ohio as well. There are multiple red states that are talking about it and have been for some time."
